The Ministry of Helps is the heartbeat of service within Ohio North. We believe that every act of service is an opportunity to glorify God and build His kingdom. Whether it's assisting during services, supporting special events, or participating in ceremonial occasions, we are here to serve with excellence, joy, and unity.
Our Mission
The Ministry of Helps exists to support the church’s mission by providing practical assistance and spiritual encouragement. We serve with a spirit of humility, following the example of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45).
What We Do
The Ministry of Helps encompasses a variety of roles, including:
Ushering and Greeters: Creating a welcoming atmosphere for every visitor and member.
Altar Workers: Assisting during altar calls and prayer times.
Event Setup and Coordination: Supporting the logistics of church events.
Ceremony Support: Ensuring all details are handled for weddings, funerals, baby dedications, and other ceremonies.
Hospitality Team: Providing refreshments, meals, and care for guests, visiting ministers, and church events.
Maintenance and Groundskeeping: Keeping God’s house clean, beautiful, and functional.
