Dr. Celeste Washington

Dr. Washington is the wife of Bishop Matthew Washington and the very proud mother of one beautiful multi-talented daughter Matia Celeste.

Dr. Washington began working in the ministry with her father, the late Bishop Marvin D. Williams, Sr., her mother, Sainted Mother Callie L. Williams and her siblings at the tender age of eight. She continued serving and worked faithfully as choir director; youth leader; worship leader; and an ordained minister at the Greater St. Stephen United Church of God in Brooklyn, New York under the pastorate and leadership of her father.

Dr. Washington accepted the call to the ministry when she realized she had “A Charge to Keep.” She holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Bethel Bible Institute and Vision International University consecutively. She received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from Anointed By God Ministries Alliance and Seminary of the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is CEO and founder of the C.F.W. Ministry, Incorporated.

Dr. Washington enjoys composing and singing spiritual songs. She co-produced and was featured on the “No Doubt” CD with The Conference Choir. She served many years as Assistant Eastern New York State Chapter Representative for the Gospel Music Workshop of America.  She travels extensively ministering the word of God on numerous platforms. Her motto is “Reaching the World One Soul at a Time!”

On December 31, 2010, Dr. Washington and her husband Bishop Washington, stepped out on faith and established Everlasting Life International Ministries (ELIM).  For many years they have served the people of God through diverse facets of counseling, guidance, mentoring, outreach, biblical teaching, spiritual covering and offered a safe haven for the lost, disadvantaged, discouraged, and wounded. On October 16, 2011, ELIM was launched in Wilmington, Delaware.  On November 26, 2011, Dr. Washington was installed as Pastor of ELIM.  It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes!

On October 15, 2021, Dr. Washington was installed as General Supervisor of Women of Celebration Of Praise Ministries, Incorporated, under the auspices and leadership of Archbishop Q. S. Caldwell.

Dr. Washington especially enjoys her first ministry at home with her husband and family, and look forward to their continued growth and territorial enlargement.  She encourages people everywhere, “You can live victorious through the power of the Holy Ghost!”
